The operation, which was performed by Professor Andrea Natale, an international pioneer with over thirty years of experience in the treatment of this condition, was successful,’ the club said.
Italian media reports that it was a routine intervention, and the 66-year-old Sarri should resume his regular duties in the coming days.
Lazio is currently in eighth place in Serie A, and their next game is on Sunday when they welcome third-placed Napoli.
