The KUCZ KS vehicle has allocated 89,780 KM, with the aim of improving the operational readiness and the capacity of firefighters.
It is a van with a sliding door on both sides, adapted for the needs of field work, and more efficient and faster response in case of fire, natural disasters and other emergencies.
“We continue the continuous equipment of the municipal protection and rescue services in the area of Sarajevo Canton, based on the expressed real needs of municipalities, in order to perform their tasks as well as better and better.
Six months ago, the Cantonal Civil Protection Administration also served a vehicle for the needs of the First Medical Assistance of the Red Cross of the Municipality of Novo Sarajevo worth 54,980 KM. We continue to strengthen all our protection and rescue structures, “said the director of the Cantonal Administration of Civil Protection of the Sarajevo Canton Jenna Brcanić on this occasion.
The keys of the newly formed vehicle for Firefighters Director Brkanić symbolically presented the Municipal Chief of Benjamin Karić.
“The safety of citizens is our priority, and each new equipment and investment contributes to their efficiency, as well as all members of our commitment in the protection of people and property. This vehicle is another step towards the safer and more resistant new Sarajevo.”
