“The years of military brotherhood, in which a guarantee for the long-term development of bilateral friendship at the cost of precious blood, is guaranteed, will continue to advance. “The challenges of ‘domination and tyranny’ cannot hinder the ties between the two countries,” Kim said.
The North Korean leader attended the event, which is the latest public tribute to the country’s soldiers who fought in Russia to repel Ukrainian forces, according to Reuters.
He recalls that Kim and Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a mutual defense pact, and North Korea sent soldiers, artillery ammunition and missiles to Russia to support Moscow’s aggression against Ukraine. Kiev and Seoul estimate that North Korea deployed more than 10,000 soldiers to the war in exchange for Russia’s economic and military-technological assistance, reports Hina.
