The incident happened just days after his big fight against Jake Paul, whom Joshua impressively knocked out in the sixth round.
According to the British media, at the time of the accident, Joshua was in the back seat of one of the vehicles involved in the collision, and two people lost their lives. The tragically injured passengers were in the same car as Joshua, who fortunately escaped the worst outcome.

The Lexus SUV carrying Joshua is believed to have collided with a truck parked near a petrol pump on the busy Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
In the videos that appeared on social networks, passers-by can be seen helping the visibly shaken boxer to get out of the completely destroyed vehicle.
Joshua was rushed to hospital for medical attention after the accident, confirmed Lanre Ogunlowo, the Ogun State Police Spokesman.
