Anthony Joshua knocked out Jake Paul in the sixth round of the fight held at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, confirming the difference in class and power against the American internet star and boxing novice.
Paul is in the early rounds tried to avoid exchange by constant movement and fighting from a distance. The first round was a test of strength, with more movement than clean punches, while Joshua already started hitting the body and controlling the middle of the ring.
In the second and third rounds Joshua increased the pressuresystematically shortening the ring and hitting it, while Paul wasted energy by constantly moving without concrete offensive effect.
The fourth round brought signs of fatigue from Paul, who occasionally tried single power shots, but without serious threat. Joshua continued to work basic and safe, building a lead.
He followed in the fifth round the first serious reversalJoshua with a combination of a kick to the body and a right to the head knocked Paul downand not long after that sent him to the floor a second time. The sixth round was short lived. Joshua pressed immediately, knocking Paul down in his corner once more and finishing him off with a precise right to the head after the fight resumed.
Joshua hit during the fight 48 of 146 shots thrownwhile Paul hit only 16 out of 56 attempts, which clearly shows the complete control and dominance of the British boxer until the stoppage in the sixth round.
Reality TV star Jake Paul was knocked out by Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua.
Although he’d be getting paid, he’d have to go for jaw realignment and get some IG Models to help build his ego back
