In the derby of the 24th round of the English Championship, Hull City, led by Sergej Jakirović, beat Middlesbrough 1:0 on the road and is now only two points behind the place that leads directly to the Premier League.
Less than a month ago, “Boro” led by four goals at halftime at Hull’s MKM Stadium, and eventually won 4:1. But the Tigers fought back at the Riverside Stadium.
Decision shot English midfielder Darko Gyabi scored in the 12th minute.

Hull City is now fourth with 41 points, as many as Ipswich in third position, while Middlesbrough is second with two more points. He leads Coventry with 51 points.
Behind Hull are Millwall with 39, Watford with 38, Preston with 37 points…
The first two positions in the Championship lead directly to the elite class of English footballwhile the clubs from third to fifth place will play for another ticket to the Premier League. The Championship resumes on January 1, and Hull City will welcome Stoke, who are in tenth place with 34 points, on their turf.
