After the conflict with Hamas in Han Junis on Wednesday, Defrin said: “We will deepen attacks on Hamas in the city of Gaza, which is the seat of the political and military apparatus of this terrorist organization.”
He emphasized that the military has already begun to surround the suburbs of Gaza and that Hamas was now “threaded” guerrilla force.
– We started preliminary operations and the first phases of the Gaza city, and our forces are already held under the control of the suburbs – said Defrin.
At the same time, at least 18 members of Hamas attacked the positions of the Israeli army in the south of the Gaza belt.
Three Israeli soldiers were wounded in that attack, one of them hard. During the exchange of fire, 10 Hamas Fighters were killed, until eight worked into underground tunnels.
