A few days ago, FIFA organized an evaluation seminar in Paris in which referees applying for refereeing at the biggest football competition took part. This is the last stage before the final decision on the list of official referees for the World Cup.
Peljto has long been on the list of UEFA elite referees, which further increases his chances of gaining trust on the biggest international stage.
The final list of referees for the World Cup is expected in the second half of 2026, and with the eventual selection, Peljto would become the first arbitrator from BiH to dispense justice at the world competition.
