The price of the Intel shares fell by about 3.15 percent after US President Donald Trump requested the resignation of the company’s executive.
“Intel Executive Director is in a great conflict of interest and must resign immediately,” Trump written on Truth Social.
“There is no other solution for this problem,” he added.
The Trump request followed the concerns about the alleged investment lip-bu in the Chinese semiconductor company allegedly linked to the Chinese Communist Party and the National Leader Army.
After Trump’s message on social networks, Intel shares fell to $ 19.75 at 15:43 GMT.
