The reason for this is the problems with infrastructure, they say from the City Construction Inspection, which, according to, brought a decision on the disagreement of the “akvane” a few days ago.
Namely, the construction inspection of the city of Banja Luka recently performed an investigation on the spot, and adopted a decision prohibiting the use of the pool and slide, given the serious damage that exist on this facility. During the inspection, it was stated that part of the facade at the main entrance to the facility collapses, that cracks in several places in the pool itself, as well as damage to the largest slide in the complex, transmits Euronews.
Due to these irregularities, the Inspectors of the City of Banja Luka issued a decision on the full closure of the facility, which was then forwarded to the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and Ecology of the Republika Srpska, as a second instance body.
The Ministry confirmed the finding of the city inspectors and supported the decision on closing.
“Akvana” are reminded, in the past few days, in the center of the political conflict between the two currents of the city authorities, the parliamentary majority of the mayor of Draška Stanivuković, which is why the “Aquane” and the City Olympic swimming pool are concluded.
Today, it was announced earlier that “aquane” will be opened on Saturday when the swimming season in this water park will officially start.
