The European Public Prosecutor’s Office has filed an indictment against six people, including three civil servants from Bosnia and Herzegovina charged with participation in cross-border corruption, ie abuse on the MEDAKOVA and a quote project.
The investigation of the Italian police revealed that three civil servants from BiH, whose names did not reveal, operated in coordinated to ensure that the contract is assigned to the Italian company.
“Officers are suspected that they were replaced by the Evaluation Commission, the Technical Report on Assessment and directing the company to adapt its financial offer to obtain the highest assessment,” the statement has been explained that this was done in exchange for money and other benefits.
The investigation relates to the section of the highway Medakovo and a long, a long 35 kilometers which is part of the broader project of the highway on the corridor “Five will be worth 340 million euros, and the majority funds from the European Investment Bank.
