Indian billionaire Anant Ambani reportedly gifted the Argentinian soccer star a rare luxury watch worth around $1.3 million during Lionel Messi’s recent visit to India.
Ambani presented the Inter Miami player with a Richard Mille RM 003-V2 GMT Asian Edition watch.
According to the British newspaper The Sun, this watch, whose value is estimated at approximately 1.3 million dollars, is extremely rare, considering that only 12 examples were produced.
The watch has a black carbon fiber case and a skeletonized dial that reveals the internal mechanisms.
Photos of Messi wearing the watch quickly spread on social media, with reports stating that the footballer accepted the gift “with great pleasure”.
During Messi’s visit to India, there were chaotic scenes in Kolkata after he left the Salt Lake Stadium after about 20 minutes of his stay.
