The exhibits are the works of prominent Croatian caricatists – from portrait with characters from their country and the world from the field of science, art, music and sports, to the view of the situation on the basis of deliberation of daily social reality.
The members of the society were prepared after the opening of the exhibition in Sarajevo, guests who wanted to, free caricures with their characters.
Croatia’s Ambassador to BiH Ivan Sabolić emphasized that after a visit abroad, the exhibition is supplemented by partly intended Bosnian audiences – caricatures with the characters of local public figures.
Sabolić expressed hope that the event would encourage positive feelings and said that the exhibition was important as Bosnia and Herzegovina bind not only cultural and other clamps with Croatia, but also a common sense of humor. The caricature usually causes laughter and joy, sometimes indifference, adding Sabolić to mark Croatian caricaturists this year and that members participated in many world exhibitions to position the Croatian caricature at a high level.
President Nikola Plečko said that in 40 years, society did not have an exhibition in a more beautiful setting than the European house in Sarajevo. The Association has eighty members and is strongly compromised by the President, because most members have no opportunity to deal with the caricature professional, so these exhibitions are the right opportunity for their papers to extend to a wider audience. According to Nikola Plečke, the caricature is very important because it also encourages how much society is subject to flaws and how it may be eliminated.
Deputy President Davor Trgovčević points out that this exhibition of the company is traveling; She previously guested in the Czech Republic and Germany offering portrays from Croatia and the world, while the Sarajevo edition is complemented by numerous characters of people who once or now lived in Sarajevo or were born there.
Traderčević notes that there are several types of caricures – one of a daily-political character is because it points to problems in society, and the other is the primary goal of making people smile.
Apart from the Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and the Embassy of the Earth in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the exhibition in Sarajevo helped the Delegation of the European Union and the Croatian Business Club in BiH.
