Today, the State Inspectorate announced that from 28. July to 2. Augusta euthanized 1919 pigs in the municipality of the Jagodnjica and that the implementation of measures against the African swine plague (ASK) continues.
The Veterinary Inspectorate of the State Inspectorate continued with the intensive implementation of the ASK suppression in the municipality of Jagodnjak in Osijek-Baranja County.
Thus, from 28. July to 2. Augusta, under the supervision of veterinary inspectors, euthanasia total 1,919 pigs on 144 properties in the municipality of Jagodnjak.
Of the listed estates, five were registered, and 25 pigs were found. On 97 properties have been determined in relation to the prescribed measures, most often due to the notification of a number of state, non-admiration of biosafety measures on the facility, and infrastructure deficiencies on buildings, and there were no impregnance identified.
All les of animals are harmlessly disposed of in the prescribed manner, and after removal of carcasses on the property, preliminary disinfection is carried out.
Veterinary inspectors will perform inspection supervises on 68 registered properties in the municipality of the Jagger, which do not possess pigs in accordance with the official database.
Veterinary inspection calls on all the pig possessors to comply with the prescribed biosecurity measures and cooperate with the competent authorities in the interests of preserving animal health and domestic production.
