– The exhibition seeks to inform, educate and tell stories of historical sites and cultural practices in Gaza, providing insight into art, aspirations and uniqueness of this belt – what is left in these difficult times. The fact that we have been testifying for two years to one of the most brutal genocides, is definitely a motive for such an exhibition – the artistic director of the Memory Module Nihad Kreševljaković said.
He added that this want to encourage all people to the importance of compassion and empathy.

The artistic community is quite silent, because what happened in aggression in BiH, artists around the world had one ethical dimension, and there is simply impossible to remain silent, “he said.
Through the storytelling of the story of Gaza and opposition with misinformation, “We must not stop talking about Gaza” aims to provide the public information to place Gaza in the context of Palestine, region and the world.
– It is important to me humanizing Palestinians and I am very happy and proud of the solidarity that exists with Palestine here in Sarajevo. It is important that Gaza and Palestine are constantly on the covers. It is important to me as the author to physically connect with people and that is why I am glad to be here in Sarajevo today – said Yousef Alhelou, journalist and director of “Phoenix from Gaza”.
I want to present the root of the cause of what happens in Gaza, he told Alhelou, emphasizing that it was not a religious war, but the war due to the stolen country since 1948.
– It is important that people oppose double standards because you know that the West proved solidarity with Ukraine, but not according to Gaza. I feel that the people in Bosnia and Herzegovina have empathy towards Palestinians, but that is not enough, the political will is important to change things – he emphasized.
