Tonči Glavina, Minister of Tourism and Sports of Croatia, confirmed this information today on the social network X, who added that the money will be donated to umbrella sports associations.
“With this increase, which is almost four times compared to 2016, we confirm strong support for sports in all segments – elite, parasport, deaf, academic and school sports,” said Glavina.
He also emphasized what the Government of Croatia expects after the latest decision.
“The funds allocated to the Croatian Olympic Committee, the Croatian Paralympic Committee, the Croatian School Sports Association, the Croatian Sports Association of the Deaf and the Croatian Academic Sports Association ensure the conditions for playing sports for children and young people and the achievement of top results for our sportsmen and women,” said Glavina.
