Ibricic spent the winter holidays in Dubai, and now he is back in Slovenia, more precisely in Domžale, where he lives.
In an interview with the Slovenian Nogomania, he talked about many topics, and the part where he referred to Ismir Mirvić, the president of FK Sarajevo, is particularly interesting.
“Sarajevo has had the most money in Bosnia and Herzegovina in recent years, but they have no success. Every season they are fourth. If there is no harmony in the club, then it is difficult to achieve anything. It certainly does not help that the president is not in Sarajevo. It is fascinating how much money he invests in club, but he is not a football type, but is surrounded by people who primarily have their own interests,” said Ibricic, then added:
“Now everyone is flocking to Sarajevo, from coaches, agents and so on. Personally, I think that the right way is to go the way that Domžale went”.
As a reminder, Senijad Ibričić was relieved of his duties as sports director of FK Sarajevo at the beginning of June 2024. His departure from the club was preceded by a suspension imposed on him by the NFSBiH for interrupting the Cup match against Borac.
