– Our present visit aims to hear the specific needs of this local community, when it comes to agricultural and water management projects, and request solutions that will provide additional investment, facilitate access to funds and improve the infrastructure – said Minister Hrnjić.
From the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, the Chief of Horvat expressed gratitude for the arrival of Minister Hrnjić and highlighted the Municipality of Velika Kladuša to be an active partner in implementing projects. According to the municipality, the municipality already invests significant efforts in the field of improving the conditions for farmers, but the support of higher levels of government is crucial for long-term and sustainable development.
Also, from the Ministry point out that a special accent was placed on the need to strengthen local water infrastructure, especially in the context of creating communal infrastructure projects. In this sense, the future projects related to the protection of watercourses, rehabilitation and construction of new channels, as well as the maintenance of existing water supply systems were discussed.
During the meeting, the possibilities of continuing the previously prepared project are discussed to resolve the issue of floods and arrangements of the river Kladušnica, as a precondition for the construction of the sewage system and wastewater treatment plant in the municipality.
The ministry reminds that Velika Kladuša was involved in the Watsan FBiH project, which is implemented through the relevant Federal Ministry, and part of which part of the sewerage network is built.
The meeting was also attended by the MP in the Assembly of the Una-Sana Canton Jasmin Hušić, Velika Kladuša Mersad Sarajlija, said from the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry, Public Relationships Office.
