Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler said Monday that the investigation process into the black box of the C-130 military cargo plane, which crashed on the Azerbaijan-Georgia border, killing 20 Turkish soldiers, will last “at least two months.”
– The process of deciphering the boxes and obtaining the initial findings will take at least two months – Guler told reporters after the meeting of the presidential cabinet.
– According to preliminary findings, although they are not certain, the tail part broke off first. Then it split into three parts. The black box will clarify that – explained the minister.
He said the black box is currently being examined by the Turkish Aerospace Industry (TUSAS).
