As a basis for this engagement, Article 24, the position II of the Constitution of Germany, in which Germany can join the system of collective safety in order to preserve peace in Europe and among the world nations.
When it comes to the action of Republika Srpska, it was emphasized that the pursuit of granting its leadership leads to undermining the functional integrity of the Common State.
“Recent adoption of the RS law has led to the most difficult constitutional crisis in the country in the last 30 years. The situation in BiH that enables the divisions and policy of policy-making opportunities at the level of the Common State and Entities,” it is pointed out.

In the light of the third role, which refers to the strengthening of the participation of Germany in European security policy, the importance of cooperation with the NATO alliance is stated.
“As part of the Berlin Plus agreement, EUFOR ‘Althea’ mission, and the importance of EU and NATO’s co-operation is being supported in this mission. It is an expression of the role of Germany in European external and security policy,” Germany refined.
When it comes to the mandate and mission, the main items are repeated in the first document when Germany announced participation in the EUFOR “Althea” mission.
