Bosnia and Herzegovina basketball player Luka Garza revealed that he had an operation in 2018 that was considered life-threatening.
Specifically, speaking to the Boston Celtics YouTube channel, Garza revealed that a benign cyst weighing almost 4.5 kilograms was removed from his abdomen.
“The surgery was considered life-threatening because there was a risk of rupture of the spleen if the cyst ruptured, which could have been fatal. The procedure was successful,” Garza said.
