The Federal Police Administration conducted searches in the Sarajevo Canton and Zenica-Doboj Canton, where they found three kilograms of drugs and arrested one person.
“On September 21, 2025, in the area of Sarajevo Canton and Zenica-Doboj Canton, police officers of the Federal Police Administration with the assistance of the Ministry of Interior ZDK, under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton and the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Zenica-Doboj Canton, and according to the Orders of the Municipal Court in Sarajevo and the Municipal Court in Zenica, search and on that occasion deprived of liberty one person with the initials E. Đ. (1996)”, it was announced from the FUP.
The mentioned person E. Đ. is suspected of committing the criminal offense “Unauthorized production and distribution of narcotic drugs” from Article 238 of the FBiH Criminal Code.
During the implementation of the Order, a search was carried out (persons, houses, auxiliary buildings and vehicles), during which about 3 kg of substance that looks like cannabis was found and seized, about 5 grams of substance that looks like cocaine, several mobile phones, scales for precise weighing and equipment for packing narcotic drugs.
“The person deprived of his liberty was taken to the official premises of the Federal Police Administration for criminal processing, after which he will be handed over to the further jurisdiction of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Zenica-Doboj Canton along with the report on the committed criminal act,” it was said.
