Resale on the black market
The assumption is that expensive drugs were stolen with the goal of resale on the black market or Dark Web.
– We are talking about oncological medicines, necessary for patients whose continuity is crucial. It is clear that we immediately intervened to ensure treatment, but it remains extremely serious that such incidents happen despite adopted security systems. Director Di Mauro expressed hope that the investigation would bear fruit.
