“We played a great game. I am very happy because we worked very well. The plan we set was followed, even in the second half when we played with one less player. It is important to celebrate this title, to be aware of what we have achieved, but also to be ready for the next competitions,” said Barcelona coach Hansi Flick.
The German expert believes that the team has room for improvement.
“We have to learn from every game. We can play even better because we have a young team. For several weeks we did not play at the expected level. The situation in La Liga is not good, but we have already discussed that in the dressing room. We are Barcelona and we have an obligation to progress”, added Flick.
Barcelona is currently third in the Spanish league, six points behind leaders Atletico Madrid.
