Fire units in Herzegovina-Neretva and West Herzegovina Canton had a number of interventions in the shutdown of the open space, which were engulfed by grass, low vegetation, forest areas, and construction waste.
In the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, the Firefighters intervened four times – grass and low vegetation in Vrapčići, Hodbina and support, while the opinion placed a fire in an abandoned facility, communicated from the Civil Protection of the HNK.
The fire station of the Čapljina had as many as seven interventions, of which three at the Jasenice site, where the forest, Makija and the grass. Fires were also recorded in Gabela, Čeljevo, and on the pajanic hills (Aladinići), as well as a small fire in a container in Mate Boban Street.
In the area of West Herzegovina Canton, the most work was firefighter in Grudama, where they took out fires in Drinovci (Dubrava and Krenica) and Medovići. In Drinovci, about five hectares of low vegetation, while about 1,000 m2 of grass and pallets burned in Medovića.
In the wide hill, the firefighters intervened in Jare, where the fire affected an area of about 4,000 m2, and members of DVD JARE, and locals also participated in the shutdown.
According to the CZ, the CZ federal administration has been burned in the Posusja and low-growing at the Donj Montenegrin site, on an area of approximately 5,000 m2, and the fire has localized two firefighters with one vehicle.
Despite the large number of fire, timely firefighter interventions prevented their expansion and the origin of greater material damage, stands in a statement.
