FIFA, the global umbrella house of football, has updated the ranking list of the world’s best national teams.
The football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina remained in the same position as before, so it still occupies the 71st place.
Looking at the teams participating in our play-off group, our national team is placed the weakest. The best is Italy, which ranks 13th, which is one position worse than in the previous list.
Our opponent in the play-off semi-final, Wales, remained in 32nd place, while Northern Ireland is in 69th position.
Of the countries in the region, only the national teams of Kosovo and Montenegro are ranked worse than us. Croatia is 11th, Serbia 39th, Slovenia 57th, and Sj. Macedonia 66.
