The termination of cooperation between the Mostar premier league team and the player from Split was announced after Lauš played ten games for Rođene in the first part of the season, nine of which were in the championship.
It was his second engagement in Velež, which began in June 2024, when he arrived in Mostar from Hajduk in Split. He also played for Rođene in the 2022/23 season, and also wore the jerseys of Posušje, Istria and Slovenian Koper.
His departure followed the departures of several players in the period between the two half-seasons. After the end of the first part of the season, Tarik Šikalo, Belmin Dizdarević, Huso Karjašević and Aleksa Raca also left Rođen.
Mostar, who finished the first part of the season in fourth place in the WWin League of BiH, are preparing for the continuation of the campaign in Istria, where they played two games at the Medulin Winter Camp 2026.
First, they were defeated 2:1 by the players of the Polish Odra Opole team, after which the Mostar defeated the Austrian Kapfenberg 2:0.
On Wednesday, Velež will compete against Lokomotiv Zagreb, after which the tournament will continue with matches for the final ranking.
