BiH Foreign Minister Elmedin Konaković and Deputy Director of Service for Jobs with Almin Imamović signed “Procedures for Procedures for Application and Extendance Services with foreigners from BiH through BiH diplomatic-consular representations.”
The protocol defines the application procedure for approval and extension outside BiH through diplomatic – consular missions, which is significantly accelerated and simplified, especially in the context of foreign labor engagement.
“In this way, we want to help the BiH economy. This is the first step by further amendment to our legislation. The current system leads to the unpleasant position of the employer. In our DCP network,” Konaković said.
Imamović said that this was allowed to all foreigners that in the DKP network could submit approval for stays, which will save some four or five months, as long as it took.
“We have already done the test with the Embassy of BiH in India,” Imamović said.
Adnan Smailbegović, the President of the FBiH employers’ association says that this is something they have worked on for a long time.
