In the second game it was much more interesting. South Africa beat Zimbabwe 3-2 in a head-to-head clash.
Tshepang Moremi gave Bafana Bafana the lead in the seventh minute, but Zimbabwe equalized in the 19th minute with a goal by Jethro Maswanhise.
Lyle Foster gave South Africa another lead in the 50th minute, but Aubrey Modiba hit his own net in the 73rd minute to get things back on track. However, Oswin Appollis in the 82nd minute brought victory to the South African species.

Egypt won the first place in the group with seven points, followed by South Africa with six points, while Angola is in third place with two points, hoping to “squeeze” among the four best third-placed teams that will go to the round of 16.
Zimbabwe is last with one point.
