The Croatian handball team defeated North Macedonia 27:25 in the Varaždin Arena in the penultimate World Cup preparatory match.
The chosen ones Dagur Sigurdsson they worked hard to win the game in which they were favorites, but at halftime the guests were leading 14:13. Croatia secured victory only in a tense finale.
After the match, Croatian national team members made statements. Mario Šoštarić he discovered that the captain had taught them a lesson because of their poor play Domagoj Duvnjak (36), who is saying goodbye to the national team at the WC:

Croatia is waiting in Zagreb on Friday Sloveniathe last test before the WC, which will be played from January 14 to February 2 in Croatia, Denmark and Norway. The host cities are Zagreb, Varaždin, Poreč, Herning and Oslo. The semi-finals will be played in Oslo and Zagreb, while the final and the match for third place will be played in Oslo.
Croatia plays the group in Zagreb and that too January 15and against Bahrain, January 17th against Argentina and January 19 against Egypt.
