The proclamation, released by Martin on Platform X late Sunday night, includes notable names such as Trump lawyers Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, and former chief of staff Mark Meadows, among dozens of others.
“This proclamation ends a grave national injustice committed against the American people after the 2020 presidential election and continues the process of national reconciliation,” the document, dated Nov. 7, which appears to bear Trump’s signature, said.
The pardon includes a “full, complete and unconditional” acquittal of all federal charges against the named individuals, including some of Trump’s co-defendants who were indicted in the state of Georgia for trying to undermine the results of the 2020 election.
Presidential pardons apply only to federal charges, not those brought at the state or local level. The document specifically states that the pardon does not apply to President Trump himself.
This is not the first pardon Trump has issued in recent days. Last week, he granted clemency to a retired New York police officer sentenced in 2023 for persecuting a family in New Jersey on behalf of the Chinese government, as well as former Major League Baseball star Darryl Strawberry, who was indicted for tax evasion in 1995.
