The District Court in Doboj issued a first-instance, convicting and non-final judgment of SP (1985), by which he was declared guilty of unauthorized production and trafficking of narcotic drugs under Article 207, paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Srpska.
He was sentenced to three years in prison for this crime.
According to the verdict, on November 7, 2024, in a street in Doboj, the accused was illegally selling marijuana, a substance prohibited under the laws on preventing the abuse of narcotic drugs in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The more serious form of the crime is qualified by the fact that he abused his minor child in the process of selling drugs.
The investigation confirmed that SP, through a video call on the social network TikTok, agreed to sell marijuana for 30 KM to the buyer AS. After the agreement, he called his son, born in 2014, and handed him a packet of drugs weighing 1.85 grams, with the words: “Puki, take this to A., he will be waiting for you at A.’s house.”
The minor boy took the package to the agreed location, but the police officers of the Doboj Police Station intercepted him and confiscated the drugs. The child’s response to the police was, “Tell dad to give an A.” The accused, seeing the police, fled towards his house.
The court permanently confiscated the remains of narcotic drugs from the accused after the expert examination, as well as the “Mtel” SIM holder, the “Smartbook” tablet, the “Samsung” mobile phone without a screen, PVC material and other items used during the commission of the crime.
The accused is exempted from paying the costs of the criminal proceedings, which are charged to budget funds. After the sentencing, SP remains in custody, which has been extended until the verdict becomes final, i.e. at the latest until the sentence expires, he writes. Dobojski Info.
