Serbian tennis player Novak Đoković announced his decision via social networks to the public, which caused a great surprise.
Namely, Đoković decided to withdraw from the Professional Tennis Association (PTPA), an organization he founded in 2019 together with Canadian tennis player Vasek Pospisil.
After careful consideration, I have decided to withdraw completely from the Association of Professional Tennis Players. The decision comes after constant concerns about transparency, governance and the way they are my voice and image were representedDjokovic explained.
In the following, he pointed out that he still appreciates the initial idea of establishing the Association, but believes that its development has moved away from his beliefs.
