Federal MP Begajeta Čaušević at the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina held on October 28 this year asked whether the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Policy headed by Minister Adnan Delić, in the period since the appointment of Rasim Dostović from the Democratic Action Movement (PDA) to the position of director of the Banovići Brown Coal Mine, issued a large number of consents to the termination of labor contracts to union trustees.
They are members of the representative trade union, the RMU Banovići Employees’ Union.
– How many of the aforementioned approvals were issued, did Minister Delić, by his actions as a representative of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy, by issuing the aforementioned approvals for termination of employment contracts, lead to a serious violation of the rights of trade union commissioners from the employment relationship? Is it abuse of official position or authority, that is, negligent behavior in the performance of duties?
Are there elements of committing the criminal offense of influence peddling in the sense that the authorized person actually only formally checks the facts necessary for the adoption of a certain act, in this case the consent or denial of consent for the termination of the employment contract, while in fact the action is aimed exclusively at the adoption of a commissioned decision, i.e. consent for the termination of the employment contract – asked Čaušević.
The Chief Prosecutor’s Office of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Sarajevo Canton replied that a case has been opened against Adnan Delic.
– After checking the records of this Prosecutor’s Office, it was established that on 17.01.2024. In 2008, a case was formed based on the criminal complaint of the Kunosic&Co doo Tuzla Law Firm, the representative of the Association of Independent Trade Unions of BiH – the RMU Banovići Employees’ Union, against Adnan Delić.
The subject is 28.05.2025. transferred for further jurisdiction to the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of FBiH, the Special Department of the Federal Prosecutor’s Office of FBiH for the suppression of corruption, organized and intercantonal crime – it was stated by the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Canton Sarajevo.
