Once the BiH Prosecutor’s Office has launched a great performance of high-educational institutions in BiH, the Government of Montenegro has suspended the recognition of grades with four universities and two high schools in BiH, for suspicion of illegal work.
Including an independent university for the political and social sciences “NUBL” and high school “Prometheus” from Banja Luka, University “Union” from Mostar, International University of Brčko and the University of Business Engineering and the Management “PIM” Banja Luka, News Transportation.
The Montenegrin Ministry of Education has been submitted in 2024. 1557 requests to recognize foreign educational documents of higher education levels acquired in the region. Of this number, there are a total of 246 requests for the recognition of diplomas acquired in BiH, of which 31 are a request for recognition of educational documents acquired on institutions under investigation of the competent authorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
– Of the 31 requests for recognition of educational documents acquired on institutions from recognition, the Ministry has positively resolved and ended the recognition procedure for 18 people, in one case the criminal charges to the competent prosecution of the educational document. For the remaining 12 requirements, recognition procedures has not yet been completed and will be suspended until the end of the investigation of the competent authorities of BiH – they say for CIN-CG from MPNI.
In July last year, the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH filed an indictment against 15 people, mostly rectors, deans and professors at universities and six private higher education institutions. They are accused of trade at least 49 higher education diplomas, mainly economic, legal, technical and engineering and health profession, and management.
Among the accused are Zoran Kalinicas a NUBL Dean, and Dragan Ilica former co-owner of the High School for the Applied and Legal Sciences “Prometheus” from Banja Luka.
Is accused and Vladimir Stojanovićwhich was engaged as a VD Rector at the University of Modern Sciences “CKM” Mostar, institutions that later continued work as “Victoria International University”. Stojanović was later the director of the High School “Union” Mostar.
The prosecution accused and Dragana Đuranovićas a rector at the University of Business Engineering and Management “PIM” Banja Luka and the business unit of this University in Brčko.
All charges are charged with the criminal offenses of the Association in order to do the criminal offenses, abuse of official position or authority, unauthorized trade, correspondence forgery and other related criminal offenses.
The investigation in this operation was called “Cluster” and lasted two years.
In the indictment in which CIN-CG had insight writes that they were Dušan Perić, Vojislav ŠkrbićZoran Kalinić and “NUBL”, during 2021. enabled the acquisition of diploma and vocation a graduate economist with 240 loans at the Faculty of Economics, Department of Economics and Business.
In agreement with Dušan Perić and Vojislav Škrbić, in the parent books and official records of the school entered untrue data, including a false date of enrollment in college. This was organized by Zoran Kalinić, while Peric recorded that everything was completed and that convictions and diplomas were issued.
The indictment writes that graduates were buying at the hotel, at the gas station and in the catering facility for several thousand euros.
According to the Prosecutor’s Office, BiH says for CIN-CG to expect the Court of BiH to continue court hearings in this case.
– Hearing for continuing the main trial in the Case Zoran Kalinić and others is not yet scheduled. The reason for not maintaining the hearings received by the plea agreements of certain defendants in this case, and which was not made to the final decision of the Court, because the agreements were arranged twice – they say for CIN-CG from the Court of BiH.
