The Gojko Šušak Memorial Tournament is a traditional football tournament for clubs in the senior competition, which has been held since 2000 in Široki Brijeg, and on February 8, 21 years have passed since the never-ending final between Dinamo and Hajduk.
From 2000 to 2016, senior teams played, and from 2019 onwards, junior teams. She won the first edition Croatia Zagreb 10 February 2000, the day before the club was given its name back Dinamo Zagreb.
In 2004, they met in the final Hajduk and Dynamothe game started but never ended. Dinamo earned entry to the finals by winning against NK Široki Brijeg while Hajduk secured their ticket to the final by winning over Zrinjski from Mostar.

Mamić explained his move at the press conference after the interrupted match with the following words: The match started at impossible conditions and maybe it should have been decided much earlier not to play. Why did I withdraw my players? Because the referee had to do it, it was constantly interrupted, so when a big knife flew into the field, there was no point in even trying to play.
Who is to blame? There’s no one to blame, we’re all losers, Mamić concluded.
The fifth memorial of Gojko Šušak was thus left without a winner due to some other reasons. Aborted final in 2004 in between Dynamo and Hajduk was the last friendly match between those clubs.
Before the match between Dinamo and Hajduk, a third place match was played in which Široki Brijeg won from Mostar Zrinjski with 4:1, and after that a big fight broke out between the fans of those clubs in front of the stadium.
A unit was also sent to help the Širokobrije police Special police from Mostar. The epilogue of everything was over 20 injured people and about 60 arrests on both sides, as well as an even greater deterioration of relations and rivalry on the Zagreb-Split route.
