Institutions in BH. The entity of the Republika Srpska (RS) last year recorded 64 children of the beneficiaries of the social protection that left parents.
According to the Statistics Institute, it is 42 boys and 22 girls.
When it comes to the age structure of these juveniles, 20 are under seven years, 32 were aged seven to 14, 10 ages 15 to 16, and the remaining two is between 17 and 18 years old.
Last year, according to the data of the Statistics Institute, there were 123 little ones whose parents were prevented from doing parental duty.
When it comes to children of parents who do not have enough revenue, 5,499 such children have been recorded last year.
Aleksandar Milić, psychologist, speaking about the children who left his parents, points out that the first association is that it was mentally unbalanced people, ie people seriously disturbed mentally.
– In other words, they are most likely not a healthy lifestyle, their existence, socialization and so on. The question is also the place of residence – where they are. It would be interesting to see the status of those parents who left the children said Milic for Independent newspaper.
It would be convenient, adds, to collect data on these people, because this information is a good indicator in terms of what needs to be done.
– I follow the expertise that sometimes social work centers prevent child care, where parents are capable of taking care of children. So, I saw such cases, intervened against them, participate as an expert in the assessment of such cases, stated Milic for the same medium.
