Today, in the Press Room of the “Rođeni” stadium, a contract was signed that will tie this versatile footballer to Rođeni for two years with the possibility of an extension for another year (2+1).
Đani Salčin was born on March 19, 2000. in Mostar. He grew up in the Velež Football Club, for which he played in the youth selections until the summer of 2014, when he went to FK Sarajevo, where he signed his first professional contract.
“In the 2021/2022 season, as a loan player from Sarajevo, he joined Rođen, and in the red jersey he played 28 matches, with a record of 2 goals and 4 assists. In addition to Sarajevo and Velež, he also played for Rudar from Prijedor and the GOŠK team from Gabela, where he joined our team. It is worth highlighting the great matches of Đani in the first part of the season for GOŠK, for which he played 13 match, scoring 8 goals with 4 assists,” the club pointed out and added:
“In addition to Salčin’s trophies won in the FK Sarajevo academy, we will single out two BiH championship titles with the first team of Sarajevo, and two BiH Cups won with the Bordeaux team, as well as the BiH Cup won with his Velež in 2022. He played for all the youth selections of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from U-15 to U-21. In total, he played 37 games for our national team, scoring one goal.
