Dajra Duraković from Zenica won second place in the giant slalom race for skiers aged up to 16 at the Interkriterium-Vratna 2025 competition, which was held today on the Mala Fatra mountain in the Slovak town of Vratna.
Duraković, with a time of 43.17, was second even after the first run – right behind the winner, Croatian Pija Vučinić, who ran the first run in a time of 42.57.
In the second run, in which she achieved a time of 42.52, Duraković managed to preserve the advantage from the first run and with a total time of 1:25.69 climbed to the podium and won second place.
The Croatian Vučinić won with a time of 1:25.03, and the third was the Czech Anna Natali Machyatkova with 1:25.79. A total of 47 female skiers from 14 countries took part in the race, of which 44 finished both races and achieved a place.
Duraković is a member of the Zenica Ski Club ZE – 2010, and she is a student of the Catholic School Center Sveti Pavao in Zenica.
