For 285 percent, the number of hospitalizations in Croatia has increased this year due to the fall from electric romobil, the doctors and experts in the field of traffic safety, not to buy electric romobies to children who do not know traffic signs or rules.
The number of hospitalization of children for injuries related to electric romobys increased by as much as 285 percent compared to last year, while the total duration of hospital treatment increased by 143 percent. It is worryingly and five times more cases of severe brain injuries, including the shakes of the brain, and the fractures of the bones of the skull, the doctors at the press conference were held at the Children’s Diseases Clinic in Zagreb.
As many as 40 percent of injured children had less than 14 years, which is the minimum legal age for romobili management. The youngest patient was eight years old, said children’s surgeon rock king
“In the last year, we saw children with serious neurosurgical injuries, including the crowd in a brain tissue. Any injury to the development of the children and vision to attention, learning and behavior,” Neurosurgirg Miroslav Gjurashin.
Fortunately, mortal outcomes in these cases have not been recorded for now, but doctors warn that this is a matter of time if the trend continues.
In most cases, injured children did not wear helmets, and often there were two people on Romobys, which further increases the risk of losing balance and severe falls. A number of accidents also occur due to ignorance of traffic rules or driving on inappropriate surfaces.
Experts point out exactly how these are not technically or legally adapted to younger age groups, especially not without adult supervision.
“Parents, don’t buy children who don’t ride the Romobiles by law. Children thus exposure to serious health risk,” Nikola Milas from the traffic police warned.
It also presented the fact that there were 57 transport accidents of personal transport funds last year in which children participated. As many as 45 of these accidents were hiding children, and 16 suffered severe bodily injuries.
In the police, they say that penalties for parents are low – about 30 euros, ie 15 euros with a quick payment, but in severe cases, social welfare centers are also included.
“Traffic culture must become part of primary education. Parents should also pass with children basic rule rules and monitor them when using electric romobiles,” he said.
He also reminded that the electric romobil should be driven on the bike path. If there is no such path, it is driven by footpath, it needs to be sunroof over a pedestrian crossing and comply with traffic signs that require stopping and releasing the benefits to other vehicles.
