It discussed issues of particular importance for Croatian defenders of the Homeland War, with a special emphasis on the status and rights of defenders from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Medved met Covic with current projects and support measures to the veterans population. Covic emphasized the importance of institutional cooperation in providing the rights and dignity of all who contributed to freedom and independence.
Also, key issues of peace and security discussed, with the challenges of the modern security environment, as well as the need to strengthen cooperation in the fight against all forms of stability threats. The interlocutors agreed that peace, security and Euro-Atlantic perspectives are key preconditions for the long-term prosperity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region – the Covic’s Cabinet was announced.
The meeting was confirmed by extremely good and friendly bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, with the importance of continuing cooperation in all key areas, including political stability, economic development and security cooperation.
Covic and Medved expressed satisfaction with the current activities aimed at improving the relations between the two countries, with a special emphasis on the rights of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina and strengthening the regional stability, which is reported to the PSBiH Public Relations Sector.
