After touring, the participants visited the Riyaset building, where they met with the Deputy Reisul-ulema of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina prof. dr. Enes Ljevaković.
– I thank all the participants and experts who were part of this forum. This is one form of cooperation between our communities in these countries, cooperation in the field of education and exchange of experiences on vacuuf issues – said dr. Ljevakovic.
He also reminded that the action of the Islamic community is focused on the development of coexistence and cooperation in good with people living in this area, while respecting all mutual differences.
– Dialogue and coexistence are actually the Qur’an principles. I believe that all present is also feeling that it is a common approach to all who live on this wider Balkan space. Also, I believe that our supports are given our friends from Islamic countries – said dr. Ljevakovic.
Director of the Vacuation Directorate Hafiz dr. On this occasion, Senaid Zajimović estimated that the forum showed the possibilities of cooperation of the Balkans, as well as cooperation with the Islamic Bank for the development and General Directorate of the Vakuf Republic of Turkey.
– Both, the Islamic Bank for Development, as well as the Directorate of the Vakuf of the Republic of Turkey, are ready, within its capacities, support all activities dealing with the Islamic communities of the Balkans, ie their vacuus directorate or administration. We are very processed by that fact – said dr. Zajimovic.
He shared with us that the important part of the action of the Vacuation Directorate in the coming period will be the effort to be traced a new path, aimed at the sustainability issues already built and renovated vacuum. In addition, during the forum, the digitization of documentation related to the establishment of the first vacuus in this area was also discussed.
– It is important to preserve and digitize, not only vacuafs, but also all documents that accompany a particular vacuuf. This can be evidence in our future restitution, the fact that a certain vacuf really existed at a certain location and that his title is the Islamic community in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Likewise, the documentation serves us as a proof that a certain vacuf originates from the Ottoman period, which is one of the conditions for signing the Protocol with the Directorate of the Vakuf of the Republic of Turkey – highlighted by Dr. Zajimovic.
During the three-day forum, issues were considered important for Vakuf and Vacuation assets of the Islamic communities of the Balkans.
