Football club Sarajevo today confirmed the transfer of Giorgi Guliashvili to Spanish Racing Santander.
According to the club’s statement, the transfer was realized with a fixed amount of compensation, additional bonuses and 15 percent of the next sale of the Georgian representative.
In total, FK Sarajevo earns 2.5 million euros from this transfer.
Racing coach Jose Alberto commented on the transfer and pointed out that Guliashvili is a player they tried to bring in earlier this summer, but then it was not possible to realize the deal.
“Now the situation is different. Guliashvili can play on both wings and as a striker. He is very aggressive and direct, plays with both feet, has a good feel for the goal and excellent passing in the end,” said Alberto.
In Racing, Guliashvili will get the opportunity to show his potential in the Spanish league, while FK Sarajevo ensures a significant income and future profit from a possible sale.
