The citizens of Drežnice supported the protest walk and thus expressed dissatisfaction due to the construction of a solar power plant planned on the Jasenians, on the mountain Prenj, which should be declared a national park.
As the organizers stated, the occasion for gathering is increasingly frequent and more serious violation of the decision on the prohibition of state property, which was previously brought by the High Representative and which, reminded, is still in force.
“We will address the BiH Ombudness and the Office of the High Representative (OHR) with clear requirements, seeking urgent and concrete measures to protect state property belonging to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said earlier from the Alliance.
The peaceful walk, as they pointed out, aim to draw the public attention and the competent institutions to the urgency of this issue, which directly affects the rule of law and the integrity of state institutions.
