In the second part of the season, which he enters from a leadership position in the First League of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Čelik will play without Dina Kalesić, whose contract was terminated by mutual agreement today – the Zenica club announced.
The club and the player, they point out, had a clear written agreement according to which, in the event that the player reaches an agreement with a club from abroad during the winter transfer window, NK Čelik Zenica is obliged to meet the player.
– As Dino Kalesić has in the meantime agreed on the conditions and cooperation with the foreign club, today, in accordance with that agreement, the cooperation between the club and the player has formally ended.
Unfortunately for us, Dino Kalesić will no longer wear the jersey of our club in the rest of the season – pointed out from Čelik.
The club thanked the player for his excellent games, professional relationship and contribution to the team, and expressed regret that he will not help them in the continuation of the struggle to achieve the set goal.
-Greetings for my people from Robijaš and Zenica, a difficult and unexpected moment has come for me, I didn’t think this moment would come.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the people from Zenica, Čelik as a club and the most ardent fans in the world. I decided to continue my career outside the borders of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I had an agreement with the club that if there was an offer from abroad, I would have clean papers, and I didn’t think about Bosnia, because I was at the best club.
My heart and soul belong to the club that gave me the chance to present myself on Bila’s field for half a year, to wear the coat of arms and jersey of Čelika, which has immense weight. Likewise, I am grateful to all of you in the club for coming to meet me, without you the foreign engagement would not have been possible.
My fight continues far from you, but with you, you will have one fan far from you, who will always faithfully follow and cheer you on. In the end, the black and red heart is mine! – said Kalesić for the club website.
Čelik, let’s remind you, last night also said goodbye to the junior national team member Rijad Telalović, who, as expected, signed a contract with FK Sarajevo today. Celik, on the other hand, will receive compensation from this transfer.
