Babies trapped in space, zombie football stars and cat soap opera: Welcome to YouTube in era and videos.
Almost one of the 10 fastest growing Youtube channels in the world shows only the content generated by artificial intelligence, as breakthroughs in technology encourage flooding of artificial content.
Guardian’s data analysis of the Playboard analytical company shows that from 100 the fastest growing channels in July this year, nine showed exclusively by content generated by artificial intelligence.
The offer includes channels with bizarre narratives such as a baby crawling in space missile before launch, undead cristian ronald and melodrama with humanized cats. Generating and videos increased in the midst of publication of powerful tools such as Google’s Veil 3 and Elon Muskov Grok Imagine.

Many of these videos qualify as “AI fries”, which refers to poor quality, mass-produced content produced, unusual or simply grotesque. But some contain a short, rudimentary action – as a sign of growing sophistication of content generated by artificial intelligence.
YouTube tried to stop the flood pomi by blocking sharing revenue from advertising with channels that publish a repetitive and “non-authentic” content-directed to and content.
“All content placed on YouTube is subject to our community guidelines – no matter how it is generated,” youtube spokesman said, owned by Google’s home company.
After Guardian contacted him about the channels – which included channels to the fastest growing list for June – YouTube said he removed three of them from the platform and blocked two more than receiving advertising revenue. It is not specified which channels are sanctioned.
One expert said that and Video generators announce the next wave of Internet “Enshittifications”, the term first used British-Canadian Cory Doctorow. He coined him in 2022, and Doctorow used it to describe the falling in the quality of online users, as the platforms give priority to the profit compared to the offer of high quality content.
“And moves flood the Internet content,” said Dr. Akhil Bhardwaj, Associate Professor at the Faculty of the University of Bath. “This enshittification destroys online communities on Pinterest, competing for income with artists on spotify and overwhelming YouTube in poor quality.”
“One of the ways in which social media companies regulate the AI of the pigs to ensure that they cannot be monetized, which removes the incentive for generating them.”
Ryan Broderick, the author of the popular newsletter on the day of the garbage, is sharply about the influence of and videos, writing last week that YouTube became “a landfill and short films.”
Instagram video function reels is also overwhelmed and with content. On the platform, video various figures with heads attached to the animals of animals received 3.7 million views, and in the main roles are “Rophant” (Dwayne Johnson and Elephant) and “Emilla”.
On the tictok, many ai generated videos have become viral, including video abraham Lincoln who has their unfortunate journey in opera and cats competing in the Olympic jumps in the water. However, Olympic videos Lincoln and cats are more in the spirit of the online era of playful wit before “slopes”.
