Niko Galešić came from Rijeka to Dinamo, while Bartol Franjić arrived on loan from Wolfsburg, stopper and left back are just one of the positions where Dinamo is strengthening.
Known as a versatile defensive player, Franjić will strengthen the competition in several positions, whether as a rear midfielder, central defender or left back. He left Dinamo in the summer of 2022 after a full 14 years, which he spent in all the maximum age groups.
With the first team, he was a three-time champion of Croatia, winning cups in 2020, 2021 and 2022, with the fact that he spiced up his second trophy with a double crown by winning the Cup as well.
In doing so, he wintered twice in Europe with Dinamo, reaching the quarterfinals, and a season later in the 1/16 finals of the Europa League. Previously, he played in the quarterfinals twice with the juniors UEFA Youth Leaguethe Uefa Youth Champions League, and he spiced it all up with a place in the final of the Premier League International Cup, a prestigious European competition for young teams. And in that entire opus, he played as a stopper, a full-back, and a rear midfielder.
He participated in an unforgettable victory against Tottenham 3:0 to enter the quarter-finals of the Europa League in the spring of 2021, playing as a left-back against one of the strongest attacking teams in Europe. We also remember the goal to win against Legions in Warsaw for 1:0 in the second leg of the 3rd preliminary round of the Champions League, the assist for the lead against Rapida in Zagreb by 2:1 in the Europa League group.
He went through Dinamo’s complete school, he was under the tutelage of Maksimir coaches within the club’s academy since he was eight years old. He entered the first team of the Blues 82 official appearances with one scored goal, and that was the key to the victory against Legia in Warsaw. Dinamo sold him Wolfsburg for 7.5 million euros two and a half years ago.

Galesic is in his performances for The river showed that he can be a versatile player. Thus, towards the end of the half-season, he played as a rear midfielder in the 4-2-3-1 system Radomir Đalović in Rijeka. What sets this 23-year-old apart from most stoppers is his ability to score goals. He scored three goals this season and five last season. He made 98 appearances for Rijeka in his career and was occasionally captain.
Galesic showed that he can be accurate from free kicks, but also very good in the penalty area after a throw-in. Except in Rijeka, he played for Croatian volunteerin which he was on loan. He was born in Berlinso he started his career at a football school Herthain which he passed all younger categories.
The competition in Dinamo is high in the stopper positions. Kevin Theophile-Catherine, Maxime Bernauer and Raul Torrente they have primacy, and there they are and Mauro Perković and Dino Perić, who should be competing this spring, and Samy Mmaeewho returns to the squad with the arrival of Fabio Cannavaro.
The young stopper successfully passed his medical examinations and signed a multi-year contract with Dinamo. Dinamo will pay Rijeka compensation of three million euros and more 500,000 euros through bonuses. He will earn around half a million euros per season in Maksimir.
