They bravely stood side by side with fighters – on the first lines, in hospitals, shelters and refugee columns. Our bitches, decorated with the largest war recognitions, are true Ä učo ču resistance – a force that is the rain of our Bosnia and Herzegovina. You were and the other most lighting of Bosnian resistance, and your names will be enrolled in golden letters in the history of our homeland. Your struggle wasn’t just resistance to the aggressor – she was a victory of life over death, love over hatred and dignity over humiliation – he said Lokmic.
The director of the Federation of BiH Hajrudin Ä † Uprija pointed out the meaning of such projects that empower the collective memory and historical truth, especially when it comes to the role of women in the Homeland Defense.
– The strength that lies in the women and the struggle they have shown during the aggression to Bosnia and Herzegovina and today is unwavering. Their contribution must not be forgotten, “said Ä † Uprija.
