Professional Bodybuilderica Zunilda Hoyos Mendez, also known as the nickname “Woman Hulk” was found dead in a rented house on Costa del Solu.
Her partner, 46-year-old Jarrod Gelling, was also found dead in the same house.
Police reported that the body of Zunilde was found with injuries that indicate a violent death with a hammer, while the partner’s body was found in the bathroom with “self-tested stab wounds”, which is supposed to be a suicide that will confirm the autopsy.
Zunilda, who also used Amy’s name, disappeared a few days after they arrived from Dubai. According to family members, the couple had problems in a relationship, and Zunilda planned divorce due to problems in relation.
Her Rodica said she intended to help Jarroda after the knee surgery and planned to go to the Portugal competition, after which she intended to return to Colombia and make a divorce decision.
The deceased bodybuilders’ family described Jarrod as a nervous and pointed out that he could badly submit her distribution request.
Police launched an investigation to determine all the circumstances of the tragic event. If it is confirmed that it is the case of domestic violence, that would be the third case in Malaga Province this year.
Zunilda was prominent in the world of bodybuilding, winning second place at the NPC Worldwide Latin American Championships 2021. year, and also had a significant number of companions on social networks and content platforms.
Her coach Branden Rey said goodbye to her by the emotional message: “We only had 17 days to the Great appearance. Rest in peace, Amy.”
