In the proposed budget of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina for this year, almost ten million KM more is planned for current grants and transfers compared to last year, so a total of more than 45.3 million KM goes for this purpose.
There are 40 grants and transfers to be awarded to seven institutions.
Among the more significant amounts are those for financing political parties, for which the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina should give 580,000 KM, and the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH gives 900,000 KM for fairs.
The Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina will, among other things, allocate 150,000 KM to the municipalities included in the system of acceptance and integration of Bosnia and Herzegovina. citizens returning on the basis of readmission agreements, 70,000 KM to local self-government units for the implementation of the policy on cooperation with emigration, 150,000 KM to the Red Cross of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 100,000 KM to the Interreligious Council, 25,000 KM to the Bosnia and Herzegovina-American Academy of Arts and Sciences, 100,000 KM to associations of national minorities, 50,000 KM to organizations for human rights for the purpose of promoting human rights, 100,000 KM for the operation of safe houses.
The Ministry of Civil Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina gives 110,000 KM in prizes for sports, more than three million KM for cultural projects, 10,000 KM in prizes for science, 390,000 KM for international cultural cooperation, more than 1.3 million KM for sports events, 50,000 KM for financing the Coordination Desk of BiH for the EU Creative Europe program, 50,000 KM for projects of non-governmental organizations in the field of prevention of HIV, tuberculosis, addiction and raising awareness about donations, 250,000 KM to non-profit organizations on behalf of BiH’s participation in the Venice Biennale, 100,000 KM for the realization of a project of bilateral cooperation in the field of science based on international agreements in the amount, 561,000 KM for programs for the preparation of projects and potential candidates for funds from Horizon Europe and support for innovation, as well as eight million KM membership fees of BiH in international restrictions.
In addition to current grants and transfers, the budget plans for the purchase of equipment 32.5 million KM more than last year, and a total of 88.5 million KM. This includes vehicles and furniture.
The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina intends to purchase vehicles and computer equipment for 752,000 KM, and the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina intends to purchase 665,000 KM also for vehicles, computer equipment and furniture.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH also receives slightly more than one million KM for vehicles, furniture and equipment, as well as the Communications Regulatory Agency.
Most of the money refers to the Central Election Commission of Bosnia and Herzegovina, 52.6 million KM, and there is also 2.7 million KM to the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of BiH for computer equipment, furniture, and slightly more than two million KM is also needed by the Ministry of Finance and Treasury of BiH, also for equipment and furniture.
